Sunset Fields

Chasing the setting sun while driving back from Yosemite with my boyfriend, I whipped out my camera and held it precariously out the window. Despite dangling a mere three feet from peril, my glorious Nikon once again did not fail me.

Pretty in Pink


Nothing puts a smile on my face more than a bouquet of peonies. They are so cheery, beautiful, and their colors are simply stunning.

This was one brave butterfly. I wan't sure that I would be able to snap a picture before it flew away, but luckily this one seemed to be undaunted by my dirty hands or surprised expression.

Into the Abyss

A Song For All Hours

Sitting in good ol' Los Angeles evening traffic recently, KCRW introduced me to my current music obsession: Beach Comber by Real Estate. Currently on repeat, it is clearly my go to summer song of the moment. Give it a listen, it's a true inspiration.



Take it to the Streets


Driving through the streets of LA, I have the crazy idea to balance my camera on the dash while trying to capture the setting sun as I weave between the milieu of cars.
